QUESTION Can you provide a history of Edsel Ford's involvement with the Gold Cup and Power Boat Racing - Roger Schaaf ANSWER Edsel Ford, the auto magnate, participated in two major races that I know of: the 1922 and 1923 Gold Cup races in Detroit. As driver of GOLDFISH, he failed to finish in 1922 and finished sixth the following year. |
